People with chronic back pain are often left with being in major pain or being on pain pills for years. Another option that is currently offered is a spinal cord stimulator to hopefully “rewire” the spinal cord.
The blogger in the linked article doesn’t see the spinal cord stimulator or pills as an option either. She’s been having a great life with lidocaine shots for years and is happy to continue with them.
While the physician sees the benefits, and the blogger understands that this may be easier, the lidocaine has worked and she feels comfortable with that level of improvement instead of something that may not.
Do you have any thoughts about it?
